Quince Therapeutics ($QNCX) Stock Hub

A pulmonary pipeline reset, with financing and listing complexity.

Latest news

September 17: Quince scheduled a September 28 KOL webcast on LAM-001, PH-ILD and post-transplant BOS. This is a scientific discussion, not a promised new efficacy readout. Company announcement.

September 14 filing: the legacy Italian subsidiary, AIDE intellectual property and eDSP systems were sold to Ayma on September 8 for $450,000 cash. SEC 8-K.

Bull / bear framework

Bull case: the pulmonary program has multiple clinical opportunities, while financing provides resources to pursue them. Execution and controlled evidence could strengthen the development case.

Bear case: early observations may not reproduce in larger studies. Listing uncertainty, preferred-stock conversion and warrants complicate the relationship between enterprise progress and value per common share.

Next catalyst

September 28, 2026 · 12:30–2:00 p.m. ET: LAM-001 KOL event. The next corporate milestone is the October 6 stockholder meeting at 11:00 a.m. ET. Clinical-data windows remain company guidance, not guaranteed deadlines. Definitive proxy.

Pipeline: what now drives the business

LAM-001 is investigational inhaled rapamycin, an mTOR inhibitor. PH-ILD development is in Phase 2b; BOS is in Phase 2, with enrollment complete. A SAPH Phase 2 start is planned for late 2026. These are development opportunities, not approved treatments. September pipeline update.

The former eDSP thesis should not be carried forward: the January NEAT trial missed its primary and key secondary endpoints, development was stopped, and the related assets have now been sold. Company news archive · Disposal filing.

Financial position

At June 30, cash and equivalents were approximately $116 million. The May financing delivered $115 million gross / $103.6 million net. Management guided to funding through end-2028; that is a forecast. Potential warrant proceeds of up to $83 million are conditional and are not cash already received. Q2 net loss was $75.5 million and should not be equated with quarterly cash burn. Q2 financial release.

Capital structure and dilution

Quince completed 1-for-10 and 1-for-20 reverse splits in April and June. The June 30 Form 10-Q balance sheet reports 1,017,063 common shares outstanding. This is a dated basic count, not a fully diluted denominator. The earnings release gives a different share figure; this hub uses the filed balance sheet. Series C preferred stock and warrants make a common-share-only valuation incomplete. Financial release · Form 10-Q.

The October 6 meeting includes transaction-related stockholder approvals. Review conversion terms and post-approval capitalization before relying on headline market capitalization or historical per-share comparisons. Proxy materials.

Nasdaq risk and proposed identity change

The August 31 Nasdaq notice cited negative stockholders’ equity of $35.324 million against a $10 million requirement. The company has until October 15 to submit a compliance plan; the notice did not immediately suspend trading. An extension depends on Nasdaq acceptance. A proposed move to the Nasdaq Capital Market and the name IRulya Therapeutics Inc., ticker IRLA, remain conditional on approvals. QNCX remains the identity used here as of this update. September 4 SEC filing.

Management, governance and ownership

Dirk Thye signed the latest 8-K as CEO. President Charles Ryan departed September 8, with a separation agreement disclosed in that filing. Governance is in transition alongside the business reset. Management disclosure.

Distinguish beneficial ownership, convertible securities and open-market insider transactions. This update does not infer insider buying from financing participation or assign an unverified ownership percentage. Ownership reference.

Market context and sentiment

The competitive question is whether pulmonary delivery can demonstrate a clinically meaningful benefit with acceptable safety. Mechanistic rationale alone is insufficient. No current analyst consensus, social-sentiment score or price target is assigned without a verified, dated dataset.

Scenarios and red flags

Constructive: corporate approvals, progress toward listing compliance and credible controlled evidence.

Intermediate: development proceeds while investors await data and clarification of dilution.

Adverse: disappointing efficacy or tolerability, delays, listing difficulties or financing terms that weaken per-share economics. These are qualitative scenarios, not probabilities or price forecasts.

Monitoring checklist

  • Review September 28 webcast materials for trial-design detail.
  • Check October 6 voting results and subsequent Nasdaq decisions.
  • Reconcile common shares, preferred conversion and warrants after corporate actions.
  • Track cash usage against runway guidance.
  • Confirm clinical timelines in subsequent company and trial-registry updates.

Health Score and editorial view

Health Score: not assigned. Capitalization and listing status are in transition; a single numerical score would obscure unresolved inputs.

QNCX should be evaluated as a pulmonary clinical-development company undergoing a corporate reset. The central questions are evidence quality, execution, listing resolution and dilution.

Primary sources

Clinical timing is company guidance. The company announcement is the primary source for the webcast; corporate-event terms are documented in SEC filings.
