GDPR Addendum — Additional Rights for Users in the EU/EEA and UK

This addendum supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to data subjects located in the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the United Kingdom. In addition to the rights already described in our Privacy Policy, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR:

  • Right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR): where processing is based on your consent or on a contract and is carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit that data to another controller without hindrance from us, where technically feasible.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR): without prejudice to any other remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that our processing of your personal data infringes applicable data protection law. As our establishment is located in Italy, our lead supervisory authority is the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali): A list of all EU/EEA supervisory authorities is available on the website of the European Data Protection Board (edpb.europa.eu). Users in the United Kingdom may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details provided in our Privacy Policy.

AI-assisted features and data processing

Some features on this website — such as our interactive catalyst / ticker lookup tool — use third-party generative AI services (for example large language models such as Google (Gemini) and xAI (Grok)) to generate information on demand. When you use such a feature, the input you submit (for example a stock ticker symbol) is sent to the relevant AI provider, which performs a live web search and returns a result.

These AI providers act as our service providers / processors. They may process the request on servers located outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Such transfers are covered by the safeguards described in the “Cross border data transfer” section of our Privacy Policy (Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable). The queries we send to these providers do not include your name, email address or account details.

To protect these features against abuse and to keep costs under control, we process your IP address on a short-term, security-related basis (for example to apply per-user and overall request limits). This processing is based on our legitimate interest in the security and proper functioning of the website.

We do not use these AI features to take automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you, and we do not use them to profile visitors. Content generated by AI is produced from publicly available web sources, may contain errors or be out of date, and does not constitute financial advice; you should always verify it against the linked primary source.
