Government shipments are becoming visible. The next tests are sampling, acceptance, margin and collections: the pipeline total is not all quarterly revenue.

The September 30, 2026 company delivery table targets sampling around October 15 for produced lots, while another lot is still in production with completion anticipated around that date Source. Passing the catalyst requires the relevant production or sampling step to be completed, followed by customer acceptance and a clear revenue bridge. The table’s approximately $12.3 million total mixes delivered, transit, produced and in-production statuses; it is not all recognized Q3 revenue Source.
Sampling targets are met, accepted deliveries convert to timely collections, and in-house or higher-purity feedstock improves reported cost and margin. Better utilization turns expanded facilities into stronger operating contribution. Cash flow improves enough to finance inventory and remaining commitments without repeating the first-half equity dependence. Actual repurchases, if made, reduce net shares while preserving operating liquidity.
Sampling or acceptance delays postpone revenue, lower antimony prices keep margin compressed and feedstock absorbs more cash. The company’s larger expense base persists before processing improvements become visible. A discretionary buyback competes with working capital, or new equity issuance dilutes the shareholder despite the capital-return headline. Strategic demand remains meaningful but does not repair the financial bridge quickly enough.
At June 30, 2026 UAMY had $41.434 million cash plus approximately $20.731 million of Treasury holdings, while first-half operating cash use averaged a calculated $3.453 million monthly Source. The quarter had more antimony pounds sold but a much weaker realized price and a 7% rounded consolidated gross margin Source. The new delivery pipeline needs to become accepted sales with better economics, rather than only a larger shipment headline.
United States Antimony produces and processes antimony and operates a zeolite business. The central question for the next 12–18 months is whether the DLA shipment pipeline, approximately $12.3 million in the September 30, 2026 table, becomes accepted sales with better economics. At June 30, 2026 the company held $41.434 million cash and $20.731 million Treasury holdings, with a calculated $3.453 million monthly operating burn and first-half funding from ATM equity. Q2 gross margin fell to a rounded 7%, and revenue guidance was cut to $60–$75 million. Sampling, acceptance, margin and collections decide the outcome. Source Source Source
The October 2, 2026 CFO filing confirms that Shawn P. Winkler, interim CFO since May 4, was appointed permanent senior vice president and CFO effective September 30. Richard R. Isaak ceased to hold those positions and his employment was terminated without cause on the same date. The company explicitly states that the termination was unrelated to financial or operating results and to disagreements or concerns over financial or reporting practices. It should not be portrayed as evidence of an accounting irregularity. Primary source
The company showed approximately $5.1 million delivered, $3.6 million in transit and additional produced or in-production lots within its approximately $12.3 million table total Source. The subtotals are calculated from the disclosed rows. Status and acceptance determine the financial interpretation; the total is not a completed revenue statement.
The company reported approximately 576 tons of ore transported during the campaign and continued supply to Radersburg for processing Source. More mining and haulage support feedstock access, while recovery, finished-product costs and margin remain the economic tests.
The authorization has no fixed expiration and does not obligate any particular purchase Source. It is potential capital return, not evidence that the amount was already spent or a guaranteed share-price floor.
Management cut 2026 revenue guidance from $125 million to $60–$75 million as pricing and delivery timing changed Source. Q2 gross margin fell to a rounded 7% from 27%; net income benefited from an unrealized equity-investment gain Source. Delivery growth needs to be tested against margin and cash.

Base case. Produced lots progress through sampling and acceptance while the next quarterly statement reconciles September shipment statuses to revenue. Government product helps the top line, but the cost base and working-capital needs keep cash generation under pressure. The August 11, 2026 $60–$75 million guidance is the company reference, not an additional forecast made here Source.
Sampling targets are met, accepted deliveries convert to timely collections, and in-house or higher-purity feedstock improves reported cost and margin. Better utilization turns expanded facilities into stronger operating contribution.
The following observations would change the operating interpretation.
These are tests of the thesis, not forecasts or probability estimates.
United States Antimony produces and processes antimony and operates a zeolite business. Antimony products serve industrial applications and defense requirements, while the Bear River operation supplies zeolite for agricultural and industrial uses. The trading case is not just that antimony is strategically important. It is whether expanded processing, feedstock availability and government deliveries translate into revenue that earns an adequate margin and eventually brings in cash. Each stage can occur on a different date, so the event reading needs to preserve those distinctions.
The September 30, 2026 company shipment update presents a visible delivery pipeline under the DLA contract, alongside high-purity Bolivian feedstock and material from Stibnite Hill Source. That is useful operating evidence. It does not establish that the full pipeline was recognized in third-quarter revenue or that the government has paid every listed amount. The table includes delivered shipments, material in transit, produced ingots awaiting sampling and a lot still in production. Collapsing all of those statuses into sales would overstate the result.
The quarter ended June 30, 2026 explains why the market needs the conversion from activity to economics. Revenue was $7.926 million versus $10.525 million a year earlier, and gross profit was $0.583 million versus $2.838 million Source. Management reported rounded gross margins of 7% versus 27% Source. More antimony pounds were sold, but realized prices fell sharply. Expanded activity therefore did not protect profitability in that quarter, even before the larger corporate cost base.
The company’s August 11, 2026 update reduced annual revenue guidance from $125 million to $60–$75 million, citing lower antimony prices, delivery timing and its revised view of second-half production Source. This is the current guidance reference used here. The old $125 million figure is not treated as a live target. A later shipment update can improve confidence about delivery progress without automatically reinstating the earlier outlook or demonstrating the margin assumed in the original case.
The September 30, 2026 closing price reference is $4.17 from Marketstack Source. It is a dated observation, not a live quote or share-price target. The Finviz chart above can change independently of the financial discussion. The analysis focuses on delivered and accepted product, realized margin, cash use and the share denominator. Those operating outcomes determine whether the company’s strategic position is becoming a stronger business per share.
The September 30, 2026 shipment table lists approximately 396,000 pounds with an aggregate indicated value of approximately $12.3 million Source. That total combines different stages and even a future production expectation. It is a pipeline total, not a statement of third-quarter recognized revenue. The clean reading starts with the delivered portion and then follows the remaining lots through transit, sampling and production rather than treating the headline as a completed sales result.
Loads 1 and 2 were listed as delivered at approximately 82,000 pounds and $2.60 million, and loads 3 and 4 as delivered at approximately 81,000 pounds and $2.50 million on September 30 Source. Adding those rows gives a calculated delivered subtotal of approximately 163,000 pounds and $5.10 million Source. Delivered is the status in the operational table. Recognition still depends on the accounting terms, including acceptance and transfer of control, so the subtotal is not silently relabeled as collected cash.
Loads 5, 6 and 7 were shown in transit, with approximately 113,000 pounds and $3.60 million, shipped during the week of September 28 and delivery expected in that same week Source. This is evidence of shipment progress, with the table’s status still in transit. An expected delivery within the quarter does not prove actual receipt, formal acceptance or revenue recognition by the reporting cutoff. The next quarterly disclosure needs to bridge the operational update into the revenue statement.
Loads 8 and 9 were each approximately 40,000 pounds and $1.25 million, produced and waiting on sampling targeted around October 15, 2026 Source. Load 10’s lot 10 was approximately 20,000 pounds and $630,000, also produced and waiting on sampling around October 15 Source. Those three rows sum to a calculated approximately $3.13 million of produced material awaiting the stated sampling step Source. Production completed is more advanced than planned production, but still different from customer acceptance.
Load 10’s lot 11 was approximately 20,000 pounds with indicated value of about $470,000 and status in production, with production anticipated around October 15, 2026 Source. That row does not represent completed product at September 30. The approximate October 15 date is a company target for sampling or production depending on the row, not a guaranteed government approval date. Passing the near-term event means the relevant step is completed and the later customer-control milestones are explained.
The first two shipments provide a concrete precedent. Approximately 82,000 pounds were delivered in June 2026 but formally accepted in July, leading management to expect about $2.6 million of third-quarter revenue in the August 11 results release Source. Thus shipment date and revenue period were already different in an actual case. The same discipline should be applied to the September table. The investment case strengthens if the pipeline becomes accepted sales and cash; it weakens if the table grows while recognition and collections repeatedly slip.
The DLA agreement is described as an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity framework with a $245 million contract headline in the September release Source Source. That amount is not a bank deposit, current revenue or proof of immediate purchase of the full ceiling. Orders, performance requirements and government rights to modify or terminate matter. The August 11 management commentary referred to $57.3 million of ingot orders on its books Source. Orders are a more specific demand indicator than the contract ceiling, while execution and acceptance still determine the financial result.
In the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, antimony pounds sold excluding DLA rose approximately 26% to 428,425 from 340,305 a year earlier Source. Average selling price fell from $28.32 to $13.70 per pound, while average cost fell from $19.85 to $13.34 Source. The result is important because the volume improvement and the cost reduction are real, yet pricing compressed the amount left over. A stronger shipment count alone is not a sufficient test of shareholder economics.
Subtracting the reported average cost from the reported selling price gives a simple calculated difference of $0.36 per pound in Q2 2026, compared with $8.47 in Q2 2025 Source. This is not a fully allocated company profit measure and does not include every overhead, mix or timing effect. It illustrates the degree of compression in the reported antimony averages. The trader should ask whether government product mix, in-house feedstock and greater facility utilization improve the next reported margin, rather than assuming more pounds automatically solve the problem.
Consolidated gross profit was $583,297 in Q2 2026, but operating expenses were $7.564 million and operating loss was $6.981 million Source. This gap shows that even improved plant contribution must support a much larger corporate and personnel cost base. Management identified share-based compensation, salaries and professional fees as key contributors to the expense increase Source. Some expense was noncash, but noncash compensation still affects shareholders and does not make the operating result equivalent to sustainable cash generation.
Quarterly net income was $110,290 despite the operating loss, helped by a $6.786 million unrealized gain on the equity investment and interest income Source. The gain did not come from a shipment sold at a profit, and it was not cash collected from a customer. A quoted investment can improve asset value while operating performance remains weak. Reading the net-income headline without separating the investment effect would produce the wrong conclusion about the antimony business.
Zeolite supplied a more favorable operating comparison. Q2 2026 segment revenue grew approximately 110% to $1.9 million, with volume up 114% to 6,609 tons and rounded gross profit rising to about $0.4 million Source. This is actual reported revenue and production-related activity, rather than a distant mining prospect. It provides another source of business contribution, but its scale in that quarter did not offset the consolidated operating loss. Growth in a smaller segment is useful without being presented as a complete earnings solution.
The revised $60–$75 million annual revenue guidance announced August 11, 2026 implies a demanding second half after first-half revenue of $14.710 million Source Source. The trader needs to look at the pace of recognized deliveries and commercial sales against that bridge. The shipment table informs progress but does not answer the full guidance question. A strong revenue quarter with weak margin would be a different result from a quarter in which product acceptance, realized prices and operating costs all improve together.
At June 30, 2026 cash and cash equivalents were $41.434 million, with $820,619 of restricted cash reported separately Source. U.S. Treasury securities held to maturity were $4.666 million current and $16.065 million noncurrent, totaling a calculated $20.731 million Source. Cash plus those Treasury holdings therefore totaled approximately $62.166 million, calculated from the reported balances Source. This explains management’s rounded $62.2 million liquidity description without merging the restricted cash into the same free-cash category.
Some Treasury holdings are noncurrent under the balance sheet. Adding them to a liquidity discussion is useful, but it does not make them all current bank cash or prove that every holding can be deployed on the same timetable without consequences. The next filing should show maturity movements, balances and the needs those funds cover. A company can have a meaningful securities portfolio while still needing working capital for feedstock purchases, customer acceptance delays and expansion payments.
The Larvotto equity investment had fair value of $43.219 million at June 30, 2026 Source. It is a market-valued asset, not an additional $43.219 million of cash. Management cited approximately $46.7 million based on the August 10 closing market price in the August 11 release Source. Both valuations retain their dates. They are not labeled as an October 1 balance. Market value can support financial flexibility, but monetization, price changes and the strategic relationship would matter before the company could use the proceeds.
The September 30 delivery update described Bolivian antimony flake arriving at Thompson Falls and material stockpiled at Radersburg Source. These developments matter partly because inventory already absorbed cash. At June 30 inventory was approximately $21.6 million versus $12.5 million at December 31, 2025 Source. Inventory is a productive resource if it is processed and sold at acceptable margins. It becomes a liquidity burden if processing, acceptance or pricing delays conversion to cash.
First-half operating cash flow included a $9.602 million inventory increase and reductions in accounts payable and accrued liabilities Source. This helps explain why the bank-account movement can look worse than the shipment narrative. Material bought and held for future processing takes cash before customer revenue. A later increase in delivered product can improve the situation, but only if the associated collection cycle and replacement feedstock requirement do not absorb all of the benefit.
The next liquidity comparison should therefore retain four categories: bank cash, restricted balances, Treasury holdings and the equity investment. It should then explain how inventory and receivables changed as deliveries increased. A simple sum of every asset marked in dollars would make the company look more cash-rich than it is. A simple dismissal of the securities portfolio would ignore real resources. The trader needs their form, date and likely use, rather than one inflated liquidity headline.
The March 2026 DPA Title III award totals $27 million, with $16.2 million obligated and $10.8 million for future phases requiring further authorization. Milestone acceptance, reporting and execution conditions govern payments. The Q2 filing says $12.8 million for three accepted milestones was recognized in Q1 and collected in April as a reduction of the related plant cost; only the $12.8 million tied to accepted milestones had been received, not the full award. United States Antimony Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
Operating cash use was $20.720 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026 Source. Dividing by six produces a calculated historical monthly operating burn of approximately $3.453 million Source. The average reflects that period’s working capital and business expansion; it is not management’s forecast for each coming month. It is the useful starting scale for judging whether improved delivery conversion begins to support operations.
Net investing cash use was $11.122 million in the same first half Source. Combined with operating cash use, historical net operating-and-investing consumption was $31.842 million, or approximately $5.307 million per month calculated over six months Source. This measure uses the reported net investing category. It is not gross capital spending, because grant receipts and other investing movements are included in the net amount.
Gross purchases of property, plant and equipment were $22.813 million, while a $12.848 million government grant receipt related to capital expenditure appeared in investing cash flows Source. The grant reduced net cash outlay. Adding the grant once as fresh cash and subtracting it again from capex in a separate runway calculation would double count the benefit. Likewise, replacing net investing use with gross capex while still calling the calculation a net cash-flow measure would mix definitions.
Using June 30 cash alone against the historical operating burn gives calculated coverage of about twelve months; including the reported net investing use gives about 7.8 months Source. Cash plus Treasury holdings gives approximately eighteen months against operating burn or 11.7 months against combined net use, calculated from the same dated balances Source. These are backward-looking mathematical comparisons, not cash-exhaustion predictions. They exclude later operating changes and must respect that part of the Treasury portfolio is noncurrent.
Management stated in the quarterly report that available resources were sufficient for its expected needs over the next twelve months Source. That judgment belongs alongside the historical calculations, not replaced by them. Future grant conditions, delivery receipts, inventory purchasing, capital commitments and any share repurchases change the path. A new profitable delivery stream could improve coverage; spending on new projects or using cash for buybacks could shorten it.
The cash balance increased during the first half because financing inflows exceeded operating and investing consumption. Net financing cash was $43.440 million, principally $49.071 million of net common-share proceeds, with warrant and option proceeds and offsets including treasury-share purchases Source. This was external finance, not self-funding from product sales. The next favorable evidence would be less dependence on fresh equity as delivered product turns into collected operating cash.
A burn improvement requires explanation just as much as a deterioration. Inventory liquidation might release cash for one quarter without establishing a repeatable margin. A slower expansion payment schedule might reduce cash use while delaying capacity. Conversely, more feedstock spending can support an expanding order book if processing and acceptance remain timely. The meaningful result is a better connection between operating growth and recurring cash flow, not only a smaller average.
Debt carrying value was $334,775 at June 30, 2026, split between $175,913 current and $158,862 noncurrent Source. This is modest relative to the reported cash balance, but it does not mean the company has no financial obligations. Total liabilities were $9.595 million, including payables, accruals and asset-retirement obligations Source. For this business, the immediate funding pressure is more closely tied to operating losses, inventory and expansion than a large conventional bond maturity.
The quarterly report described approximately $39 million of total estimated Thompson Falls expansion expenditure, around $37 million formally agreed with vendors and about $33 million incurred at June 30, 2026 Source. These are project cost and commitment figures, not a fresh $39 million bill on top of all historical spending. The trader needs the remaining payments and what they bring into productive service. The facility was described as substantially completed in Q2, while remaining equipment and commissioning steps still affect utilization and shipment cadence Source Source.
Antimony inventory purchase commitments were approximately $5 million at June 30, 2026, with delivery expected during the remainder of the year Source. Those commitments help support feedstock availability but also reserve future cash. They should not be ignored merely because they are not all in balance-sheet debt. Successful government shipments can release inventory into revenue while replacement purchases consume cash, making working capital central to the next financial result.
On August 19, 2026 the board authorized repurchases of up to $100 million of outstanding common stock Source. The program has no fixed expiration, obligates no particular amount of buying and can be modified, suspended or terminated Source. This is authorization, not evidence that $100 million has already been spent, not a promised purchase schedule and not a guaranteed price floor. Management’s view that shares were undervalued is its opinion, not a valuation adopted here.
The program’s ceiling is large relative to the June 30 cash and Treasury combination of approximately $62.166 million Source. That comparison uses an older balance-sheet date and does not establish current affordability or intended spending. It shows why actual repurchases must be evaluated alongside working capital and project needs. A meaningful buyback funded from improved operating cash would be different from buying shares while subsequently issuing more stock to support loss-making operations.
The first-half cash-flow line for $7.782 million of treasury stock acquired relates to employee equity-award net settlements, as described in the August 11 release Source Source. It predates the discretionary August 19 program and is not part of the purchases under that new authorization. A capital-return assessment needs the next filing’s actual shares and dollars repurchased under the program, plus the effect on the net outstanding share count. The authorization itself does not cancel the past or future dilution mechanisms.
Because the reported debt base is small, inventing a major covenant or refinancing cliff would distract from the real questions. The relevant obligations are the disclosed equipment debt, purchases, plant completion, environmental liabilities and operating cash needs. Read the next filing for changes in those actual exposures. “Little debt” is a useful fact; “no funding risk” would be an unsupported conclusion.
The February 2026 Americas Gold and Silver venture is intended to build an Idaho hydrometallurgical facility, with U.S. Antimony owning 49% and Americas 51%; U.S. Antimony’s carrying value was $76,360 at June 30. The portfolio also includes Nolan Creek and Fairbanks mining claims in Alaska and the Fostung tungsten project in Ontario, acquired in 2025 and covered by an initial-assessment technical report filed April 10, 2026. Claims and an initial assessment are development assets, not established producing capacity. United States Antimony Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. United States Antimony Q2 2026 results release (SEC Exhibit 99.1).
The August 25, 2026 Stibnite Hill update described resumed mining from April and approximately 576 tons of ore transported during the 2026 campaign, with company-reported antimony content near 10% Source. It reported haulage at roughly three truckloads per operating day Source. These are mining and transport results at the stated date, not sold finished antimony. Grade, recovery, processing costs and customer acceptance determine how much of the material’s apparent value becomes revenue and cash.
The company described moving Stibnite Hill material to the Radersburg flotation mill, then concentrate to Thompson Falls or the Mexican Madero smelter for finished products Source. This is the relevant operating chain: ore must be upgraded, processed and delivered in specification. Moving rock more quickly supports throughput potential, but it does not establish final recovery or a repeatable margin. The next result should show how in-house feedstock affected the cost of material actually sold.
The September 30, 2026 update reported antimony-bearing material in stockpile at Radersburg containing more than 400,000 pounds of antimony and said processing of Stibnite Hill material had begun Source. It is not treated as more than 400,000 pounds of finished product already sold. Management expected lower-cost owned feedstock to improve margins Source. That is an economic expectation awaiting confirmation through production, realized cost and sales mix.
The same September release said high-purity antimony flake, approximately 99%, had arrived from the Bolivian partner’s hydrometallurgical facility during Q3 Source. Management expected better gas-furnace efficiency from that feedstock Source. The receipt is a concrete supply development, while the margin benefit remains to be demonstrated. Supply origin, quality and processing method affect economics; strategic positioning does not make the feedstock cost irrelevant.
The trader should compare the next quarter’s realized selling price and cost per pound with the June-quarter compression, while preserving mix differences between commercial and government product Source. Better utilization can help spread processing costs. A different product mix may improve realized pricing. More expensive inputs or lower recovery can offset those gains. The claim that vertical integration helps margins passes only when reported economics show the benefit rather than only larger stockpiles.
Zeolite should be assessed through its own volume, price, cost and contribution, rather than buried inside an antimony-only story. The Q2 2026 increase in reported zeolite sales and gross profit is an operating result Source. New critical-mineral properties and evaluation projects represent longer-term optionality with different costs and timing Source Source. They are not current commercial production and do not remove the need for the existing processing platform to earn cash.
Finviz data as of October 1, 2026 showed approximately 135.61 million float, short float of 24.71% and a short ratio of 5.45 Source. Institutional ownership was 61.03% and insider ownership 9.39% in that export Source. Those fields are dated to acquisition. The short-interest settlement date is not stated, so the figure is not confirmed exchange short interest settled on October 1. Third-party float figures and the outstanding shares in filings also measure different populations and can have different update dates.
Positioning can amplify the reaction to accepted government shipments, margin improvement or a disappointing financial bridge, but a large short-float percentage does not guarantee a squeeze. A short ratio relates positioning to typical trading activity, not a compulsory countdown for all short holders. Supply from issuance and changes in trading volume matter. The event should still be evaluated on its financial content before attaching a mechanical price outcome to positioning.
Lloyd Bardswich’s Form 4, filed September 2, 2026, reports a September 1 purchase of 20,000 common shares at $4.635 and post-transaction direct ownership of 932,881 shares Source. This is a reported open-market purchase, distinct from an award or a tax-related withholding. It is useful evidence of one insider’s transaction. It does not establish that all insiders were buying, predict the next price move or prove that the company’s shipment guidance will be achieved.
The Larvotto holding is an investment owned by UAMY, not automatically an owner of UAMY common stock Source. The government customer relationship is also different from ownership of listed shares. These distinctions prevent strategic connections and assets from becoming an invented ownership table. Third-party institutional and insider percentages give broad context; conclusions about material transactions rest on the actual filings and their dates.
The next capitalization update matters alongside short positioning because issuance and repurchases can change the tradable supply. A stock can have a meaningful insider purchase and still face a weak margin quarter. It can have a large short position and still issue shares. The cleaner analysis preserves the independent evidence: product acceptance, margin, cash use and the transaction reported by the insider, without converting any one item into a recommendation.
Primary source Primary source
A separate October 2 filing concerns Gary C. Evans's CEO employment agreement, entered October 1 and effective August 1, 2026. It provides a three-year term and a $430,000 annual base salary, subject to review, with performance-based bonus eligibility. It also describes conditional severance: two times the sum of base salary and the relevant target bonus after qualifying termination in a change-of-control window, or one-and-a-half times that same sum under specified other qualifying circumstances. These are contingent employment obligations, not cash already paid or a transaction announcing a change of control. The separate agreement is available in the SEC filing linked below. Primary source Primary source
The transition makes financial responsibility more definite while the company's shipment, acceptance and cash-conversion tests remain open. The appointment does not establish that delivered material has been accepted, that additional revenue has been recognized or that operating cash flow has improved. Financial oversight must reconcile delivery tables with the next reported revenue, margins, receivables and collections. Primary source Primary source
The useful follow-up is the next quarterly reporting cycle and any change in controls, compensation or disclosure. Governance continuity can help execution, but the central economic question remains whether the government and commercial pipeline produces profitable accepted deliveries and cash. . Primary source Primary source
The permanent CFO appointment changes a leadership status rather than creating an operating result. A person moving from interim to permanent responsibility can provide continuity, but the announcement alone does not establish that internal controls are effective, every accounting issue is resolved or a future audit will be clean. Those conclusions require the relevant filings and auditor or management assessments. The title should therefore be recorded as current governance information alongside, rather than in place of, the company's reporting record. Primary source Primary source
The former CFO's termination is described in the filing as without cause and unrelated to reporting or accounting matters. That wording comes from the disclosure itself. The disclosure does not support an allegation of misconduct, disagreement or a financial restatement. Similarly, the new appointment is not a certification of every previous figure. Distinguishing the company's stated reason from independent conclusions protects both the factual record and the reader's ability to evaluate later reports. Primary source Primary source
The CEO agreement is another separate document. Its effective date, entry date, base compensation and conditional severance describe contractual obligations. A severance multiple becomes relevant only under the qualifying circumstances specified by the agreement. It is not an amount already paid merely because the contract was signed. Salary, target bonus, potential termination payment and equity incentives can affect different periods and accounting categories; combining them into a single current cash expenditure would misstate the disclosure. Primary source Primary source
For financial oversight, the central operating reconciliation is between physical activity and recognized economics. Announced shipments, sampling, acceptance and recorded sales can occur at different stages. The CFO role is relevant to the integrity and timing of those records, but the appointment is not evidence that an unaccepted delivery has become revenue or cash. The next quarterly statements should show the actual effect of transactions on revenue, margins, receivables and liquidity. Those distinctions matter: the governance event is not a substitute for customer acceptance. Primary source Primary source
Compensation should also be assessed in the context of resources rather than used as an isolated narrative. A base salary creates a recurring contractual cost, while conditional severance creates a different potential exposure. Neither can be compared responsibly with a cash figure from another date without recognising the period mismatch. The announcement provides the contract terms; subsequent statements establish what was accrued or paid. The same discipline applies to board or executive share awards, which differ from an insider purchasing stock with personal funds. Primary source Primary source
The practical monitoring sequence is the next reporting cycle, any disclosed change in control assessments and the actual conversion of the operating pipeline into profitable accepted deliveries. Continuity can help an organisation execute, but evidence of execution remains margins and cash rather than titles. A favourable scenario combines stable oversight with improving business results. An adverse scenario includes continued weak economics or reporting problems despite a permanent appointment. No change to the operating conclusion follows automatically from the employment documents. Primary source Primary source
The June filing describes a Mexican commercial claim for approximately $339,000 plus $54,390 of VAT and a precautionary attachment of approximately $339,000 in a bank account. Management did not consider a loss probable and had not recorded a litigation liability; the attached amount of approximately $339,000 is classified within restricted cash ($820,619 in total at June 30, 2026). Asset-retirement obligations were $2.786 million at June 30, reflecting restoration obligations rather than ordinary bank debt. United States Antimony Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
The 2025 annual report separately describes approximately $163,000 of reclamation financial assurances, primarily surety bonds. This older assurance disclosure is not the June 2026 asset-retirement liability or the total June restricted-cash balance. United States Antimony 2025 Form 10-K.
October sampling and production. The September 30 table targeted sampling around October 15, 2026 for produced loads and completion around that date for a lot still in production Source. Look for the actual step completed and the next customer acceptance status. Do not count the in-production lot as already delivered, and do not count sampling as payment. The event passes when the pipeline advances in the way required to support recognized sales.
Quarterly recognition. Whether the delivered and in-transit rows match the quarter’s revenue; the June-delivery/July-acceptance example shows that timing matters Source Source. A difference between shipment value and reported revenue can be legitimate, but needs an explanation. Repeated timing shifts without clear acceptance progress would weaken the assumption that more product activity is becoming a reliable sales stream.
Gross margin and operating expense. Compare antimony realized price and cost, zeolite contribution and the consolidated cost base with the June 30 quarter Source Source. A top-line rebound alone does not retire the $6.981 million quarterly operating loss Source. The useful improvement is product contribution large enough to support the organization, with cash flow moving in the same direction rather than an unrealized equity-investment gain carrying the net result.
Cash and inventory. Watch cash, Treasury maturities, receivables and feedstock replacement. The first-half operating burn of approximately $3.453 million monthly and combined net use of $5.307 million monthly are dated historical scales, not forecasts Source. Less inventory can release cash, but the operating platform still needs a sustainable supply. More inventory can support orders, but should not repeatedly absorb financing without profitable shipment conversion.
Share supply and actual repurchases. The $100 million authorization announced August 19 is optional Source. Read actual shares and dollars repurchased against any new ATM issuance and compensation shares. The red flag is presenting authorization as completed support or treating employee tax-related treasury purchases as the new program. The favorable evidence would connect lower net shares with sufficient liquidity for operating needs.
Bottom line. UAMY has a more visible government delivery pipeline, an expanded processing platform and meaningful cash and securities. The June-quarter result nevertheless showed severe pricing and margin compression, and first-half cash generation relied on equity finance. The trade is whether the September pipeline progresses through sampling and acceptance into better margin and cash, while the capital-return plan remains compatible with working capital. This is an operating interpretation, not a recommendation to buy or sell and not a share-price target.
No. The September 30, 2026 table includes delivered, transit, produced awaiting sampling and one lot still in production. Recognition and collections are separate stages Source.
At June 30, 2026 cash and equivalents were $41.434 million; Treasury holdings were approximately $20.731 million, partly noncurrent. Larvotto is a market-valued equity asset, not cash Source.
Calculated historical burn for H1 ended June 30, 2026 was $3.453 million operating and $5.307 million including net investing. Neither is a runway forecast Source.
The August 19, 2026 announcement authorized up to $100 million, without an obligation to spend or fixed expiration. It does not establish completed purchases Source.
On August 11, 2026 management reduced 2026 revenue guidance to $60–$75 million from $125 million Source.
The Form 4 filed September 2, 2026 reports a September 1 purchase of 20,000 shares at $4.635, with 932,881 directly owned afterward Source.
